PROPERTY: Enjoy your coffee on the front porch or listen to the birds while gliding on the swing. Either way, you will acclimate to the Key West vibe in no time.
Located on a teeny tiny quiet lane, this beautifully renovated home is trimmed with a white picket fence and boasts solid surface floors and an open concept living room/kitchen. The gourmet kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare meals or to snack around the large kitchen island with seating for four. Plenty of cabinets, granite counters and stainless-steel appliances round out the kitchen. The living room with TV, ceiling fan, and comfortable furnishings has seating for everyone. From here you may spill out onto the deck via the expansive glass doors. Once outside, you can chill in your private hot tub and wash your cares away.
Each bedroom is superbly furnished and includes an ensuite bath with glass walk in shower. The primary bedroom enjoys a unique ambiance provided by obscure lighting in the vaulted ceiling. The room is also flooded with natural light and adorned with plantation shutters, beautiful bedding, dresser, TV, closet, and bedside wall lighting. The second bedroom is also beautifully furnished and includes bedside wall lighting, ceiling fan, TV, dresser, and your own entrance to the deck. Vacationing in this home will prove to be enjoyable, relaxing, and have you wanting to come back before you even leave.
BED CONFIGURATION: Each king bedroom has an ensuite bath, bedside wall lighting and beautiful furnishings.
OUTDOOR AMENITIES: Private wrap around deck with hot tub and outdoor shower. Comfortable seating, an umbrella dining table with chairs and a gas grill are provided for your enjoyment. Your own washer/dryer is in the outdoor laundry closet.
PARKING: One private parking space is available. This is a great feature in Key West where parking is limited.
LOCATION: Located on a quiet lane in Old Town, less than 2 blocks from Duval Street. From here you can walk to many of Key West’s attractions, shopping, restaurants, and bars. A short walk away is the stop for the Duval Loop (a free bus service) to assist you in getting around downtown.
PETS: This home is not pet friendly. Please browse our other pet friendly properties.
SMOKING: This is a non-smoking home and property. This includes the HOT TUB area.

Pristine 2 bedroom cottage in great old town Key West location. Quiet neighborhood (other than occasional roosters, but those are everywhere) within walking distance to the many restaurants, bars, attractions in Key West. Immaculately finished spaces inside and outside. Loved it!

Fantastic 2 Bdrm house with private deck, grill, hot tub. Well-appointed kitchen, comfortable beds, 2 full baths, clean. Quiet location, but easy walk to Duval St. Been to Key West many times and this was the best rental I have found.

The Butterfly Cottage was perfect for out stay on Key West. It is strategically located right in the middle so you can walk everywhere. The cottage is the perfect size for 4 adults, with lovely outdoor space so we could enjoy the evenings in the hot tub. We would definitely stay here again. We made the drive through the keys with another couple, staying at various hotels and resorts. Arriving in Key West, we received a friendly welcome to pick up our keys to The Butterfly Cottage. It was easy to find and perfect in every way for the 4 of us. Great furnishings, everything you need, clean, new, beautiful. Better than another hotel. Great location just a couple blocks away from Duval-which was also perfect because it was quiet at night. Highly recommend this beautiful Key West cottage.

The house is as close to perfect for a rental for our needs. Remodeled, walking distance to almost everything and lovely private back deck/hot tub area. The only complaint that we have is one no one can help, the roosters. They start crowing around 5am and it seems to be all day long! We've stayed in hotels on the island before and never had that problem but staying on a local street, there is this issue. Ear plugs, noise app, box fan or something provided by the rental would be amazing. Next time we come we'll be better prepared. Otherwise loved our stay!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the rental property AND company! From the moment we arrived, we were treated like we had known the office staff for years. They are top notch - kind, professional, organized, knowledgeable. The property itself is immaculate. It has been recently renovated and is very clean, comfortable, stylish, quiet, but close enough to walk to everything. We would definitely stay in the same home again, but we loved the rental company so much, we’d like to see what else they have to offer!

Butterfly Cottage is nicely done. The accommodations are comfortable for two couples. It is furnished well and comfortable. The location is convenient to all of the Key West attractions and easy walking. It is a great place to stay.

This cottage is a perfect stay. It was the cleanest place we've ever stayed and the appointments were the most thoughtful. The kitchen supplies were exactly what we needed and that is usually NOT the case.

Such a relaxing 2 weeks. The newly renovated home is gorgeous and has everything you need. The outdoor shower and hot tub were especially nice. The staff at Historic Key West Vacations were very helpful and informative.

The Butterfly Cottage is completely renovated beautifully! In fact, my daughter wants her bathroom at home to be remodeled like the en suite to her room at the cottage. Spacious for our family of four - parents and two teenagers. Loved the outdoor deck area with hot tub. Kitchen was easy to use. Stocked with all the accessories we needed. Great location. We biked everywhere. Enjoyed the swing, listening to the roosters and watching the cats walk by. We feel lucky we found this rental!

This cottage is absolutely perfect! Beautifully remodeled in a great location. Extremely clean and comfortable. Historic Key West Vacation Rentals is by far the most accommodating leasing company we have worked with and Cindy was always there for last minute concierge services. Not one complaint!

Butterfly cottage is ideal in every way! It’s well appointed! The outdoor patio area is beautiful! I enjoyed the hot tub! The linens are very comfortable! The kitchen tools were more than sufficient for cooking and entertaining! The cottage is a 5!!!
