The Steamplant is the second tallest building in Key West. Nowhere else can you step out of your secure, private elevator onto your one of a kind Key West rooftop terrace 70 feet above the island. This year was the second time we had stayed with Steamplant. The unit we had this year was nearly perfect for us. We loved our balconies and the view; we were especially thrilled with the plunge pool, and our sunset visits up there with a great view of sunset. The home is extremely well equipped, although we did have to ask for a vacuum cleaner! I think a previous tenant must have lost or removed it!! We love our bedroom, which is spacious and cool. The staff at Steamplant cannot be better. We felt like we could call and ask for any assistance and we would have a prompt and efficient response. Although we stayed home quite a lot because of COVID worries, we know from our previous trip that the location is darn near perfect. We can walk easily to multiple restaurants, and the Duval Shuttle stops right across the street. We love this condo and have booked again for next year. We did really hate to leave.

The Steamplant unit 207 was the most amazing place we have ever stayed. The unit was clean,spacious, luxurious and in a great location. The fact that parking as included was a bonus for anyone staying in Key West. The in-house gym was perfect for us. Staff were responsive. Views from the roof area were spectacular. We did have an issue with air conditioning on one level. Fortunately,two of our guests had departed by the time this occurred. They were really inconvenienced for one night.We would stay there again without question.

We sold our home in Key West sooner than expected and were not ready to head north yet (too cold)! My wife and I stayed at the Steam Plant. The unit was very spacious, and had great amenities. We made good use of the rooftop pool and sundeck. Sunset viewing from the rooftop common area was magnificent. The location was convenient with nearby access to restaurants and nightlife. The building and property were very secure, which is important for the area. We needed a place which was dog-friendly and this was perfect. Not only were the grounds nice, but there is a dog park next door. In addition, the property manager< Misha, was very attentive and available for anything needed. The only negative I would like to see addressed is the noise created by the cooling system which you can hear from the multiple, beautiful terraces. You cannot hear it on the roof-top or in the unit so it would not deter me from staying again.
