- This exuberant street party is the official kick-off for the annual Fantasy Fest costuming extravaganza with the action taking place noon to midnight both days. Find the main entertainment stage Key West's Bahama Village neighborhood at the corner of Petronia and Fort streets. Popular musicians offer nonstop tunes in genres ranging from gospel to calypso and vendors offer multicultural taste treats. Other festival highlights include Friday night's opening ceremonies and Saturday night’s Junkanoo Gawds Parade of costumed marchers and dancers, beginning at 6 p.m. and traveling through Key West’s historic downtown.
