Key West Challenge 2026 at Dante’s Tiki Bar & Conch Harbor Marina
The Key West Challenge 2026 returns from April 8–12, 2026, uniting Viking Yachts owners, anglers, and families for five days of competition, celebration, and community. Recognized as one of the premier sportfishing events in the Florida Keys, this annual tournament blends offshore fishing excitement with the unmistakable energy of Key West’s nightlife and hospitality.
Elite Offshore Sportfishing in Key West
This world-class Key West sportfishing tournament challenges anglers to compete across categories that include billfish, tuna, dolphin, cobia, kingfish, wahoo, swordfish, and bottom fish. Awards highlight the Grand Champion Boat and Angler, as well as special honors for Top Female Angler and Top Junior Angler (15 & under). Following IGFA rules, all billfish are released unharmed, with releases reported via VHF radio and daily weigh-ins held at Conch Harbor Marina.

Wednesday, April 8 – Kickoff at Dante’s Tiki Bar with registration, cocktails, and captain’s meeting.

Thursday, April 9 – First fishing day, weigh station open at Conch Harbor Marina, followed by a welcome buffet at Dante’s.

Friday, April 10 – Family-friendly day featuring a pool party lunch, Kids Dock Tournament at The Galleon Fishing Dock, Poker Run, and Docktails.

Saturday, April 11 – Final fishing day, weigh station at Conch Harbor, and a sunset awards dinner at Opal Key Pier.
Participating Marinas
Limited slips are available at some of Key West’s top marinas, including A & B Marina, The Galleon, Conch Harbor Marina, Key West Bight Marina, and Opal Key Marina. Early reservations are recommended.
