Awesome!
Condo is small but as nice as can be. Everything you need is there and no more. No dressers in either bedroom so you basically live out of the suitcase but I think this is typical of Key West. Outside deck is big and gorgeous with plenty of vegetation and lots of privacy. Only 1/10th of a mile from Truman Annex park to walk in and just a few blocks from Duval. Close to everything but quiet at night. HKWVR was great. They let us drop our bags off when we got there until we could check in. Check in was available an hour early. Had and issue with water backing up in the dishwasher. Called and they had if fixed in no time while we were out and about.

excellent experience at seas the day
My son, daughter-in-law, and I made a last minute vacation change and were blessed to find and select the Seas The Day VRBO. We had a cruise planned planned for 4 months, and 1 1/2 days to departure, Carnival notified us of the cruise cancelation due to ship engine problems.
The condo was in a great location of all activities on and around Duval Street, and the warm where we could watch the World Offshore boat races. We didn't need a rental car, as we could easily walk to most of the island. The condo was clean, with a wonderful patio, and all the basic amenities, washer/dryer, kitchen, iron, hair dryer, and 3 televisions.

7 night vacation
The unit was very clean and in fairly good shape. Kit was tight but livable. The large deck is great. Location to the pool is a short 2 min walk. The pool area is small but in May not crowded. Plenty of shade that we love. 2 block walk to approx middle of Duval. So location is great.

great condo close to everything!
We enjoyed how quite the neighborhood was and that the home was in good condition and clean. Bathroom was a little small but plenty of space to utilize other areas when getting ready. Also great outdoor private space on back patio and front porch! Very happy with our stay!

great location!
Overall, we had a great stay. The location was perfect, secluded but close walk to all the action, community pool, and park. Probably too small of a condo for two couples or families, despite the two bedrooms unless you really do plan to be there only to sleep. We had some issues with termites in one of the bedrooms which apparently was an issue for many areas while we were there. We did not report it until we left and therefore, cannot speak to response. There was also some issues with the AC, and were not permitted to turn lower than a certain amount without it freezing up and making noises. The back deck was superb, great seating areas and very relaxing.

great location, nice condo with deck & outdoor space.
Perfect location 2 blocks from Duval St, Blue Heaven, and The Green Parrot. We loved the front porch & watched the Christmas Bicycle Parade from the porch. The back deck with lounge chairs, patio table & chairs was a nice spot where we cooked shrimp on the grill that we picked up at the seafood market. The small kitchen had everything we needed, bedrooms & bath were clean and well-appointed. We enjoyed having the pool nearby. Historic Key West Rentals is a great place to rent from. We had a problem with the gas grill and they came quickly to replace the tank and fix the grill. Would definitely stay here again!

perfect escape
What a perfect little spot to escape! Walking distance to so many fun spots! Restaurants, a fun park and splash pad, shopping etc. The hosts were excellent with communication and made our stay perfect.

christmas in key west!
We were really looking for a great place to and for the holidays this year in the US. This location was perfect for us we were able to walk everywhere! We didn't need a car and if we had wanted to we could have rented bikes but we preferred walking. the condo was perfect for the 4 of us as family if you have people who are not the one bath may be a long term issue if your staying for a week or longer. the quarters are small but the outside is very nice and we are outside people! the pool is close by and it was small also but we did go a couple times. overall we loved this location and our condo. the rental company was fabulous to work with.

loved the condo and the management company
We love the location of these condos and this one was great! We contacted the management company a couple of times with exceptionally minor issues that didn't need immediate attention, and we told them, but were still handled in amazingly fast time. I would work with HKWVR again in a heartbeat and would rate their service as top rate! The only issue would be that the place could really use more comfortable beds and pillows.

the Condo is convieniently located in Truman annex, with a nicely furnished patio. the kitchen is adequite. I would recomend this location for 2 adults not 4 adults or perhaps 2 adults with young children.

The two bedroom apartment is conveniently located in the Shipyard section of Truman Annex. Very convenient to Duval street and the state park/beach. The apartment is small, but clean and comfortable. The back deck and grill is a tremendous addition and we found that much time was spent on the deck. The pool is just a three minute walk, albeit the pool is small (but as big as they get in Key West). Will definitely think to return to this gem.

much needed rest!
We arrived 8/4/18 to Key West to begin our vacation, the check in process was hassle free. Our vacation spot was just minutes away. We arrived at the condo and we were very pleased with the tidiness of the home. It had beautiful up to date furniture and plenty of space for us to enjoy our time there. The pool was a very nice area, great to chat with the other guests. The unit came equipped with plenty of extra towel and blankets. I loved my morning coffee on the deck. It was always so peaceful and quiet. The only downfall is there is only 1 parking spot for guests. Ended up paying 18/day for a 2nd vehicle in a parking garage. Overall we had an awesome stay and would stay here again when we visit Key West.

well placed key west crash pad
Excellent base for a week of diving from Key West. V good location just off Duval. 15 mins walk to the drive boat dock, via the main drag. Apartment is clean, deck area v usable. Kitchen tiny but serviceable and reasonably well equipped for basic breakfast and lunch prep. Utility (washing facilities) great. Beds comfortable, plenty of storage. Bathroom small but well presented - shower is great. Area is nice and feels safe. Central pool is simple but clean and well-used. Parking easy and v convenient. Would return if we were back in Key West. Mgt company was v helpful; out of hrs access was easy.

adorable condo in great location
We loved Seas the Day! It was immaculately clean and well appointed with everything you could possibly want for a wonderful vacation. We had a few days of rain but there were thankfully umbrellas available. The back patio was so pretty and a great place to relax. The pool was a bit crowded on the nice days but folks were friendly and considerate. Terrific place to stay!

lovely home and great location.
This was our first stay in Key West and we were so happy with this condo. Just Perfect for our Family of 4. The house was very clean and in a quiet area. The location was Perfect, just 2 Blocks from Duval street and walkable to almost everything. Yes the Kitchen is small but on vacation it dosent matter. So many good restaurant in the area!
We hope to be able to come back and rent it again some day.

The unit worked well to make us comfortable for our long stay. It was well appointed and the location was perfect. Kudos to the customer service team for replacing the tiny travel size hairdryer with a full size model! Also the faulty coffee maker was replaced immediately.

a winner!
This was our first long stay in Key West and we could not have been more pleased with this apartment. The location is perfect -- walkable to just about everything we wanted to do. Great restaurants nearby. Easy to get to Duval Street and Mallory Square for a bit of fun.
The kitchen is small -- definitely a one person operation but the outdoor grill and big deck allowed us to cook comfortably. Would definitely rent this place again for 2 people. Not so sure if it was more.

great location in the keys!
The location was 2 blocks from Duval right in the middle of everything. The place was clean, comfortable and well maintained. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and will be coming back to stay at the same place the next time we come to the Keys. Right in the back of the property is Fort Zachery Beach. That is a great place to go. We had a very relaxing time and we will be back.

stress free getaway
The property was beautifully decorated, extremely clean and well maintained. The location was perfect, close to restaurants, shops, Mallory Square. We rented bicycles and had a great time riding around the island. Enjoyed the sunsets and sitting outside at the many restaurants along the harbor. Peaceful mornings and evenings on the back deck. Great vacation!

great key west vacation at seas the day!!
We had a very enjoyable week stay in Key West. Seas The Day is a very nice condo in the Shipyard area of Truman Annex on the western end of Key West. The condo was very clean and well appointed. The master bedroom was comfortable and we used the other bedroom to lay out clothes, suitcases, etc. The condo size was good for the 2 of us. A larger group could find things a little cramped. The one bath is a little small; but fine for 2. The appliances were new and in fine, working order. The back deck is very nice. There is a back gate from the deck that leads to a very pretty path that leads to the swimming pool and the large parking area. We parked our rental car on the night we arrived and never touched it again until the next Saturday when it was time to leave. Great location which allows walking distance to just about everything. The beach at Ft. Taylor state park was about a 15 minute walk and the condo was only 2 blocks from Duval Street. Easy walking distance to Truman Little White House, Hemingway House, Southernmost Point, and Mallory Square. We walked everywhere and thoroughly enjoyed it. The Shipyard area and Truman Annex is a very quiet, beautiful area. It is hard to believe that all the nightlife of Duval is only 2 blocks away. There is a washer and dryer for laundry if needed. Little things like the number of towels, soap/shampoo, pool towels, grill on the deck, etc. make the condo a home away from home. There were even 2 small umbrellas in the utility closet. Wish we had know that so we would not have packed 2 along. Phil Lavoie, our Concierge, was great! He provided quick response to any needs we might have had and was very helpful with tips, restaurant suggestions and even coupons to some of the establishments. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend Seas The Day if you are looking for a great vacation property in Key West!!

wonderful winter escape!
Seas the Day was the perfect rental for our winter get away! The newly renovated property is beautifully decorated, nicely appointed, and the kitchen is well equipped. The large back deck surrounded by lush tropical landscaping is a great spot for dining, reading, and relaxing. Loved enjoying a glass of wine on the deck after a day at the beach! The location in the Truman Annex is close to Duval Street, Ft. Zachery State Park, and many wonderful restaurants. Rent a bike! Key West is the perfect size to explore by bicycle! We also went on a sunset cruise and kayak trip arranged for us by the concierge who was very helpful and responsive as is everyone at Historic Key West Vacation Rentals. We will recommend this property to our friends and family without hesitation and we definitely will rent again! Can’t wait to go back!! One mistake we made was waiting until the last night to go to Bo’s Fish Wagon! Wonderful fish sandwiches and great atmosphere!

perfect vacation getaway!
We loved this rental, the size was perfect for the two of us, and we loved coming back each night to sit on the rear deck and share a glass of wine. It's quiet and intimate and we loved that the French doors opened up to expose the deck. It's so close to Duvall street, we walked or rode bike everywhere we went. Love the vegetation around these rentals too, very tropical!
