Bike Rentals in Key West

Concierge Services are available via phone at 305.296.1010, Option 5 or email at concierge@historickw.com.

From our famous Historic District to the picturesque waterfront, bike riding is our favorite way to experience Key West. Our southernmost paradise measures about four miles by two and it’s flat, so you’ll have an easy go of it. We’re happy to help you enjoy adventures on bikes from our neighboring rental companies. You’ll ride in comfort with wide, fat tires, comfortable seats, baskets, and night lights.

Where might your biking adventures take you? For starters, cars are few and speed limits are low, so set your pace to enjoy our natural paradise, its cool architecture, hip and happy hangouts, and the local characters you’ll meet along the way.

Bike Paths

One great place to start is Fort Zachary Taylor.  Practice your pedal power on the short trail that leads to the southern tip for sunbathing, fishing and snorkeling.  Then, when you’re ready, hop back on for a tour past a pine woodland and onto the beautiful water views along the seawall.

Another route we recommend is from Southard Street where there’s a nice path that takes you right through the heart of Key West, past Green Parrot Bar and into Truman Annex.

There’s no shortage of bike paths and trails and here’s a handy list with lots of great choices, styles and levels!

Biking Events

We also invite you to take your biking adventures to the next level with these special biking events during the year:

Zombie Bike Ride - The dead shall ride and meet up at Zombieland in Fort East Martello for this annual family friendly event during Fantasy Fest. Thousands of costumed and body-painted zombies head down US1 to Duval Street in downtown.

Key West Lighted Bike Ride - Vacation with a purpose and help gather needed toys for needy families in Key West. Ride decorated and lighted bikes through the streets, spreading holiday good wills and cheer. To enter, simply bring an unwrapped toy or a monetary donation.

Please Note: Florida State Law requires bicycle riders or passengers under 16 years of age to wear helmets.
