Did you know? Key West is very kid-friendly with lots of exciting entertainment, recreation and learning opportunities. Tell Concierge Services about what interests your crew has, and we'll line up the perfect attractions and adventures for your entire family.

Water Activities

Head out on the water for your choice of eco-tours and cruises for all ages or reel in loads of kid-friendly fun with an age-appropriate fishing trip. You can even opt for a full day of activities to include watercraft like wave runners, kayaks and paddleboards. You can even request banana boat rides, a water trampoline and inflatable water slides.

Beaches

Make plans to head over to Higgs Beach and Fort Zachary State Park to catch some sun, play on the beach, and explore the fort. It's the perfect place to introduce your kids the joys of snorkeling in the shallow, crystal clear water.

Ask Concierge Services to help with tickets to attractions where you can meet and enjoy lots of colorful locals like our butterflies, flamingos and the various critters that hang out and live in the aquarium.

Excursions

Dolphin excursions are always fun and they're also one of the best ways to see manatees, stingrays and sea turtles. Noodles and life jackets are included for shallow water fun and snorkeling for the older kids. Ask Concierge Services to book you an afternoon tour if you'd like to be on the water at sunset.

Prefer to stay on land?  Kids 12 and under ride the train for free. It's a great way to explore Key West's architectural history and to hear about some of the legends from our past. Robert the haunted doll who lives at Fort East Martello is always a favorite!

Shipwrecks & Museums

Shipwrecks and their treasures are aplenty.  There are over 400 wrecks scattered throughout the keys and there's a museum that keeps their tales alive through guided tours with costumed characters.  There's also a 65-foot lookout tower to climb with stunning views of the area and the waters where the ships met their fates

We even have a free, interactive museum that will keep children and adults captivated. There's a 2,500-gallon reef tank for viewing and they hold a children's workshop to learn about our marine environment on the third Saturday of each month.
