THE PROPERTY: The Bohemian House is a restored historic home full of delightful surprises! This home is placed on the National Registry of Historic Places and proudly bears the star of the Historic Florida Keys Foundation, and the Old Island Restoration Foundation Key West House Tour plaque.
Step through the front door into the main living room with large flat screen TV. If TV is not your thing, enjoy the wall mounted electric fireplace. The home is decorated with whimsical art, all hand selected to create a happy eclectic bohemian vibe. The kitchen will delight the chef of the family. You will fall in love with this home and never want to leave!
BED CONFIGURATION: The first floor queen bedroom has an ensuite Ernest Hemingway bathroom. Ascend the staircase to the designer master loft bedroom suite with King bed, ensuite bath, cove lighting, and fainting chair.
OUTDOOR AMENITIES: Located on a tiny one way lane in Historic Old Town Key West, it has a private "salt water" dipping pool. The pool is heated seasonally (November through April) for an additional fee which will be assessed at the time of booking. Plenty of outdoor shaded seating for lunches on the lanai, Adirondack chairs for soaking up the sun and even a hammock are a pure delight! There is even a propane grill for your grilling your catch of the day.
PARKING: Covered parking for compact car.
LOCATION: Old Town is the western part of the island and divided into North and South of Truman avenue. A majority of the tourist attractions are located here as well as numerous restaurants, shops and galleries. The neighborhood boasts historic homes, shotgun and conch style homes, that will captivate you while roaming through one of the prettiest towns in the United States.
NEARBY: Eaton Street is seconds away, with shopping and restaurants for those who like it a little more 'local' and Duval Street is a 4 minute bike ride for those who want a little more 'Key West action'.
PETS: One (1) dog allowed, up to 25 lbs,for an additional fee and completion of Pet Information addendum. Must be 1 year of age or older. Must be spayed/neutered. All vaccinations must be up to date. Please be advised some breeds are not permitted. Sorry, cats are not allowed.

We had a great stay. The house was wonderful and the location is hard to beat. Everyone with the rental office was helpful and very nice. We would recommend staying here for sure.

Great location in KW Historic Old Town & Seaport area. Very private & quiet. Close to great dining, Duval Loop bus & bike rentals. Enjoyed kitchen & covered patio. Staff(s) at HVHKW were all exceptional. Some attention to carpeting & downstairs bath would improve this eclectic vacation rental.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is in a good location and easy to walk most places. It has a nice little pool to relax in. The kitchen had everything we needed. The carpets in both bedrooms really need to be replaced. They look dirty and worn. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch with a cocktail and talking to some of the people passing by. Overall it’s a nice spot.

I had a wonderful time in the house. It is very private on a small quiet street. Within a 10-15 minute walk you can get to most restaurants and other things you would want to do. The parking area is probably not an option for anyone but those with the smallest car, but I had no issues finding street parking within a couple blocks after dropping off any groceries, luggage, etc. Just leave you car there and get a bike! The upstairs is an open loft so may not work for some desiring more privacy, but it is spacious and has plenty of closet space/drawers. Kitchen is fully stocked with any tools you may need. Wifi was strong enough to allow me to frequently work from the back patio. All the staff from HKWVR were very responsive and great to work with.

It was the prefect spot from the project we were working on. Very comfortable and quiet. The back covered porch was a great spot for all of our meals - even when it was raining!!! While this is a two bedroom house - we would not recommend it for 2 couples - there is not much privacy when you look at the bedrooms! But for a couple - it is perfect. Great location. If you are going for sun at the pool - you need to get out early. privacy foliage shaded the pool after 12:30pm.

My fiancé and I stayed for a month at the Bohemian House and we absolutely loved it! Great location, walkable to almost everything. The pool and backyard were wonderful to have, especially when we had guests. Totally perfect!

Bohemian House was exactly what my family looks for in a Key West rental.
It is in Old Town - biking or walking distance to everything, yet is quiet and private. We loved the tiny pool, porch sitting, and the house is clean and well maintained. Management is responsive and professional. Great experience -
